Who Is Teairra Marí on ‘Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’?

On Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, Teairra Marí says she and Princess aren’t friends but they’re not enemies either. But that’s before Princess throws a punch at Teairra. What would make these two grown woman get physically abusive? A man by the name of Ray J. Princess says she’s “been doing me and it feels wonderful” since her breakup with Ray. But Princess thinks Teairra is one of the causes of their breakup.

When not filming LHHH, Teairra Marí is in the studio, or should be. She’s the granddaughter of one of Aretha Franklin’s backup singers. And when Teairra was just 17, Jay Z signed her to Def Jam and produced her debut album Teairra Marí. Teairra was eventually let go but has released several mixtapes since including Don’t Make Me Cause A Scene. In 2013, she released the single “Deserve” (produced by LHHH’s Yung Berg) which blasts her ex, Ray J. Since then, the 27-year-old Detroit native has become a regular on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood which airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
