On the Blue Bloods episode “Backstabbers,” Lieutenant Sid Gormley finds himself in an awkward situation — and it’s not (as it usually is) with his boss, Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck). Gormley is critical of a plan submitted by Sgt. Trey Delgado (Esai Morales, NYPD Blue, La Bamba), who may or may not be having an affair with Gormley’s wife.
[Who Is Sgt. Trey Delgado On ‘Blue Bloods’?]
Gormley is portrayed by Robert Clohessy. The Bronx native is best known for his roles in the films A Most Violent Year (Mr. Rose), The Wolf of Wall Street (Nolan Drager, Jordan’s lawyer), and for his roles on the TV shows Boardwalk Empire (Ward Boss Neary), Oz (Officer Sean Murphy), and Hill Street Blues (Officer Patrick Flaherty). Fun fact about Clohessy: He fought in the 1975 Golden Gloves in Madison Square Garden. (Watch out Delgado!) Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10pm on CBS.
