Season 5 of Grimm finds Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) trying to pick up the pieces after the beheading of his mother and the death of Juliette, the love of his life. And on top of that, he’s facing fatherhood. Adalind (Claire Coffee) is having his baby. It’s going to be a trying time for Nick — and his dealings with FBI Agent Chavez might not help.

Special Agent K. Chavez is portrayed by Elizabeth Rodriguez. The New York native is best known for her roles in Orange Is the New Black (Aleida Diaz), Fear the Walking Dead (Liza Ortiz), 50 Cent’s Power (Paz), and All My Children (Carmen “Sugar” Morales). Fun fact about Rodriguez: In 2011, she was nominated for a Tony Award and won the Outer Critics Circle Award for her role as Veronica in the Broadway show “The M–therf–ker with the Hat”. The entire cast – Rodriguez, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Rock, Annabella Sciorra and Yul Vazquez – won the Theatre World Award for Best Ensemble. Grimm airs Fridays at 9pm on NBC.
