On The Good Wife, attorney Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) tries her hand representing clients in bond court. It’s not easy for a number of reasons. But the presiding bond court judge, Don Schakowsky, is the number one reason. He is curt and rude and, Alicia believes, unfair.
[Who Is New Investigator Jason Crouse on ‘The Good Wife’?]
Judge Schakowsky is portrayed by Christopher McDonald. The native New Yorker got his big break when he landed the role of Darryl in Thelma & Louise. He went on to play Jack Barry in Robert Redford’s Quiz Show, another game show host in Requiem for a Dream, Todd Gross in The Perfect Storm, and Shooter McGavin in Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore. McDonald is also known for his roles on the TV shows Family Law (Rex Weller), Boardwalk Empire (Harry Daugherty), and in the mini-series Texas Rising (Henry Karnes). The Good Wife airs Sundays at 9pm on CBS.
