Who Is ADA Emily Sinclair on ‘How to Get Away with Murder’?

On How to Get Away with Murder, attorney Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) pays Assistant District Attorney Emily Sinclair a visit and says, “I thought your schedule would be clear now that your star witness has abandoned you.” Sinclair replies, “Mr. Millstone and I still have to talk about that.” Annalise shuts that down and quick: “No you don’t. He sent me on his behalf.” Ouch. Sinclair agrees to lay off on Millstone but only because they still have the Hapstall case together. “I look forward to destroying you in court,” Sinclair tells a happy-looking Keating.

Sinclair is portrayed by Sarah Burns. She’s best known for her role as Krista Jacobs on the HBO show Enlightened with Laura Dern. Since then Burns has appeared on many shows including The Mindy Project, New Girl, and most recently Married with Nat Faxon and Judy Greer. She’s also recognized for her roles in the films I Love You, Man; Life As We Know It; Going the Distance; and Enough Said. How to Get Away with Murder airs Thursdays at 10pm on ABC.
