On Haven, the TV show inspired by Stephen King’s The Colorado Kid, Dwight (Adam Copeland) and Charlotte (Laura Mennell) try to free Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) from the Sandman who aims to trap Audrey in his mind forever. If the Sandman looks familiar, there’s a good reason. The actor who portrays him, Rossif Sutherland, is the son of Donald Sutherland and French Canadian actress Francine Racette.
After graduating from Princeton University, the young Canadian-born actor moved to New York to study acting. Rossif got his big break on ER as Lester Kertzenstein. Rossif also has had recurring roles on Crossing Lines (Detective Moreau) with his father as Michel Dorn, Covert Affairs (Tony), and Reign (Nostradamus). Fun fact: He’s named after director Frédéric Rossif. Haven airs Thursdays at 10pm on Syfy.
