Drama follows the ladies of Basketball Wives LA wherever they go. On the beach in Puerto Rico, newbies Brandi Maxiell, Mehgan James and Malaysia Pargo are fuming mad when they see veteran Basketball Wives Shaunie O’Neal (executive producer of the show) and Tami Roman laughing. The three younger ones think O’Neal and Roman are laughing at them. Brandi wants some respect so she gets up in the faces of O’Neal and Roman. (Bad idea.)

“Jackie had it all wrong with me and Malaysia, of calling us the mean girls,” Brandi says. “We’re not. The mean girls is [sic] Tami and Shaunie.” After the fight on the beach, Shaunie explains, “We were honestly just laughing at each other. This is all in Brandi and Malaysia’s mind.” When Shaunie told them “as a group, you are a hot, ass mess,” Brandi quietly apologized. Guess who was let go from the show? Not all Basketball Wives fans agree with Shaunie’s decision. Some believe Shaunie holds too much power on the show. Basketball Wives LA airs Sundays at 9pm.
