Howard Stern launched into a tirade against controversial former Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters over Waters’ boycott of Israel — and his condemnation of performers, like Bon Jovi, who aren’t boycotting Israel. Waters objects to what he sees as Israel’s oppression of Palestinians.
“What is with Roger Waters and the Jews?” Stern asked. Jews in Israel already have it bad enough, Stern says. What is Israel? Stern said, “Picture a desert with no natural resources, no water, no oil. It was a sh*thole that nomads would essentially walk over. So they figured, where’s the one place they can stick Jews.” Stern said, “He’s got to shut up, Roger Waters.” Stern then turned up the shock jock volume asking, “Where do you want the Jews to go, Roger? You want them to just go back to the concentration camp? What is it you want, f**khead?” Stern pointed out that Roger Waters can’t even keep the peace in Pink Floyd — the original band members hardly speak to each other — so he might leave peace in the Middle East up to someone more qualified.
