At the end of Season One on Gotham, viewers watched crime scene technician Edward Nygma turn a corner. And not in a good way. In Season 2, Nygma is a “full blown psychotic.” The two different personalities of Nygma manifest themselves, very literally. The good Nygma has to confront the bad side of him that’s telling him he needs to gain control of his life. “Take what you deserve,” the bad one whispers. Get ready for some serious Nygma-battling. Maybe even some Riddler-morphing?
[Who Is Tabitha Galavan On ‘Gotham’?]
Nygma is portrayed by the talented Cory Michael Smith. Prior to Gotham, he played Pvt. Bergen in the 2014 film Camp X-Ray with Kristen Stewart. Smith will appear next in the Todd Haynes film Carol, based on Patricia Highsmith’s novel about a young woman (Rooney Mara) who falls in love with an older, married woman (Cate Blanchett) in the 1950s. Carol will be released in November 2015. Gotham airs Mondays at 8pm on Fox.
