Miles aka Siir Brock is a new addition to the reality TV series Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. The Los Angeles native is a 27-year-old singer. After his R&B band Marz Boiz disbanded after seven years, he decided to try a solo career. He says he joined LHH Hollywood because he thought it was a “courageous” thing to do. Miles is a gay man who — with his boyfriend Milan Christopher — is struggling with his identity in the hip-hop industry which is known for homophobia.

“To be honest, I don’t know how people are going to judge me,” he says. “I want people to see me as a genuine, honest, young, respectable black man who is naturally talented. Educated. Making music.” But even before the show premiere, his fellow castmates including Moniece Slaughter has been throwing shade at Miles and “his dude.” Love & Hip Hop Hollywood airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
