Riley Biederer is the 19-year-old singer from Atlanta auditioning on Season 9 of The Voice. She’s been “seriously singing” since she was 11 or 12. According to her local online newspaper ForythNews.com, Biederer was signed by Elton John’s music management company, Rocket Music, when she was 15. At 16, she won the Bill Lowery Horizon Award at the Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards ceremony. Justin Bieber won it the year before.

Since then, Biederer has developed a big fan base. She has more than 254,000 YouTube subscribers who love to watch and hear her cover Ariana Grande (One Last Time), Taylor Swift (Shake It Off), Lorde (Royals) and Rihanna (Diamonds), among other divas. Why she needs to be competing on The Voice is a bit of a mystery. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
