The trio of young male singers from Arkansas, Triple Threat, charmed the judges of America’s Got Talent, once. But all of their charm disappeared during their live performance at Radio City Music Hall in New York. It was a poor choice of song, the Destiny’s Child track “Say My Name.” With a poor choice of production (dancers, choreography) and a poor choice of costume. At least that’s how the AGT judges came down.

As AGT judge Mel B said: “This was misguided. It was a parody of a boy band.” She tried to soften the blow with “Your harmonies are usually like silk but you butchered it. It was way off the mark.” Howie Mandel regretfully agreed, “You buckled under the pressure.” Think Triple Threat can get America to vote for them? America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
