Stuttering standup comedian Drew Lynch wowed the America’s Got Talent audience at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. He opened his number with a joke about his service dog. “But I don’t know what she does,” he said. When she arrived at his home, he said, “This isn’t my magic chihuahua! I got the wrong box!” That was a reference to Piff the Magic Dragon’s act, performed just minutes before.

Lynch got former standup comedian Howie Mandel on his feet. “You check every box for me. I feel a personal connection with you. You deserve to be here.” And then he gave him the ultimate compliment: “I wish I could be as good as you.” Howard Stern pointed out the technical work: “You’re an excellent writer” while Heidi Klum pointed out the obvious: “I love when you laugh at your own jokes.” Lynch will likely be one of the seven to advance on America’s Got Talent which airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
