On Murder in the First, homicide detectives Terry English (Taye Diggs) and Hildy Mulligan (Kathleen Robertson) head to Mexico where they dig up some dirt on Edgar Navarro (Lombardo Boyar). Meanwhile, Malcolm ‘Suger’ Monroe deals with his sister who was recently released from jail — and a rival gang that is threatening war against him.
Suger is portrayed by Mo McRae. He’s best known for his TV roles on Sons of Anarchy (Tyler) and Ray Donovan (Deonte Frasier), and in the films Wild (Jimmy Carter) and Lee Daniels’ The Butler (Eldridge Huggins). Murder in the First airs Mondays at 10pm on TNT.
