On the season finale of The Game (July 29), Jason and Kelly made their pitch to buy the Sabers but things don’t go as they planned. They’re disappointed and then shocked when they learn that eccentric investor Herbie Lesser is the new owner of the team.
Herbie Lesser is portrayed by veteran TV actor Richard Fancy. He’s appeared on a ton of TV shows from Ray Donovan and The Mentalist to Mad Men and Melissa & Joey. He’s best known for his roles on Seinfeld (one of Elaine’s bosses Mr. Lippman), It’s Garry Shandling’s Show (Mr. Stravely), and General Hospital (Bernie Abrahams). The Game airs Wednesdays at 10pm on BET.
