On Sisterhood of Hip Hop, Nyemiah is working hard in the studio. She’s putting the finishing touches on her song “I Don’t Know” from her debut album. She admits feeling a little self-conscious about the track. She’s worried about what everyone else will think about it.

In the studio, Nyemiah’s good friend Siya swings by with a special guest. Siya introduces Nyemiah to “my guy, Irv.” Irv, as in Irv Gotti, founder of Murder Inc records. Siya understands what Nyemiah is going through. She said when she was feeling self-conscious about her music, “Irv dropped some gems on me.” Siya thinks he can do the same for Nyemiah. Sisterhood of Hip Hop airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Oxygen.
