Flex Alexander of Flex & Shanice created a graphic novel, “The Joshua Run,” years ago and now, out of the blue, he gets a call from a publisher who says he’s interested. The timing couldn’t be better because Flex’s comedy tour has just been cancelled and he hasn’t told his wife Shanice, yet!
Dave Steward II, the CEO of Lion Forge Comics, tells Flex that “The Joshua Run” will be out by this summer. “We’ll roll it out real big,” Steward tells Flex, who of course is delighted. Flex says he’s “Hoping it [the graphic novel] reminds people that he’s just not an actor and comedian but a writer and producer, too.” Flex says he’s now going to pitch “The Joshua Run” as a TV series. You can buy digital copies of “The Joshua Run” for $1.99 each, here. Flex & Shanice airs Saturdays at 10pm on OWN.
