Jeanette Cota is the mother of dancer Ava. Ava was once a student of Abby Lee Miller (2012-2014), the famous/infamous dance instructor and star of Dance Moms. Like many “dance moms,” Jeanette and Abby didn’t see eye-to-eye. So Jeanette took her daughter out of ALDC and joined the Candy Apples, which Jeanette just took over from Cathy Stein.

Jeanette isn’t just a pretty face with long legs. In addition to being a professional model, Jeanette was a dancer, too. In 2005 she opened her own dance studio, The Broadway Dance Academy in Fenton, Michigan where she lives with her family. Think Jeanette has what it takes to go against Abby?
