The Lifetime movie Perfect High is based on a true story. The protagonist is a sweet suburban girl named Amanda (Bella Thorne) who likes to dance. But when she injures her knee, she starts taking painkillers and starts running with the wrong crowd who share her prescription pills. When Amanda’s prescription runs out, they find other ways of achieving the Perfect High — including (unbeknownst to them) heroin.

One of Amanda’s friends, Riley, gets into serious trouble. Riley is portrayed by Mexican-born actress Daniela Bobadilla. The 22-year-old is best known for her role as Sam Goodson, teen daughter of Charlie Sheen on Anger Management. Bobadilla is currently filming Odious, a thriller about a child sex trafficking ring in Los Angeles. Perfect High will premiere on Lifetime on June 27 at 8pm. It will air again on June 28 at 12am and 9pm, and June 29 at 1am.
