Rapper Doug E. Fresh is best known as the pioneer of beatboxing – imitating drum machines with his mouth. With the Get Fresh Crew, his 1985 song The Show went platinum. In 2005, he sang some singles like Rhyme & Punishment with E-Z Rollers. But Doug E. Fresh hasn’t produced his own album since 1995 (Play).
Now Doug E. Fresh is making an appearance on the dating show, The Bachelorette. Kaitlyn and the guys go to New York and meet Doug E. Fresh who will try to teach the guys how to rap. One thing a lot of people don’t know about Fresh is that he’s a member of the Church of Scientology. He even sang the track below on the Scientology music album The Joy of Creating. One of the lines in the song is: “There’s a positive force, and a negative force, and a spiritual being has the freedom of choice.” The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
