Australian singer/songwriter Vance Joy will be spending the summer with superstar Taylor Swift. It’s purely professional! To celebrate their new partnership, Joy recorded a cover of one of his favorite tracks from Swift’s 1989 album, “I Know Places.” (Video below.)
Taylor Swift’s manager, Scott Borchetta of Big Machine Records, is giving Joy another boost. The 27-year-old Aussie will perform live on the finale of American Idol (May 13, 8pm on Fox), where Borchetta has been serving as a mentor to the rising stars.
