On the season finale of Dancing with the Stars (May 20, 9pm, ABC), R&B singer Jason Derulo will perform his new single Want to Want Me from his new album Everything Is 4. USA Today says it’s Derulo’s falsetto that “follows in the tradition of soul men like Smokey Robinson, Philip Bailey and Prince that makes (Want to Want Me) so irresistible.”
Derulo’s making the rounds on the talent TV shows (American Idol, The Voice) this season because he’s also promoting the upcoming twelfth season of So You Think You Can Dance where he’ll be a judge with Paula Abdul and Nigel Lythgoe. Derulo said of SYTYCD: “It is one of the most respected and longest-tenured shows on network television, and I hope to be a part of new growth and continued success.” So You Think You Can Dance returns to Fox on June 1.
