Oscar-nominated actress Diane Lane (A Little Romance, The Outsiders, The Glass House, Unfaithful) is starring in the new thriller Every Secret Thing. Lane plays the mother of one of the two 18-year-old girls who return home from “kid prison.” When they were 11 years old they committed a shocking crime involving a biracial baby. When a similar crime happens involving another biracial baby, just weeks after their return, of course they are suspects once again.
Lane plays the mother of the “good girl” of the two, Alice Manning, who’s portrayed by Australian actress Danielle Macdonald. The film will which be released on May 15, is based on Laura Lippman’s book of the same title.
