One of Abby Lee Miller’s dancers, Nia Frazier, wants to sing and dance. After performing on Todrick Hall’s music video “Freaks Like Me,” Nia started to pursue the music side of her career. At Miller’s dance studio (ALDC), while in the dressing room with all the dancers and their mothers, Nia lets everyone hear a snippet of the song she’s been working on. It’s called “Star in Your Own Life.” The snippet wins Nia congratulations all around. With pride, Nia announces: “I did that without Abby, too,” Sounding very mature, Nia adds: “You don’t need Abbey to do everything for you. You can do stuff by yourself. And do just fine.”
Nia has been working on the “Star in Your Own Life” video, too. Her mother Holly organizes a screening at a dance competition for everyone to see. But will Abby show up? Dance Moms airs Tuesdays at 8pm and 9pm on Lifetime.
