On American Idol, finalist Clark Beckham sang Bill Withers’ ballad, “Ain’t No Sunshine.” He nailed the soulful song. So much so that after the performance, judge Jennifer Lopez asked Beckham, “Who’s the girl you were singing to?” Lopez said it was the question everybody wanted to know the answer to.
The shy 22-year-old Clark stayed mum. Luckily, JLo took him off the hook. “You don’t have to answer that.” Tune in on May 13 (8pm, Fox) to see who the next American Idol is.
