On the season 10 premiere of America’s Got Talent (May 26, 8pm, NBC), America will watch TV host Nick Cannon lay on top of a pretty young woman. It’s not what you think. The woman, Sam, is a professional cuddler. On her website, CuddleUpToMe.com, she suggests: “Let’s hold hands, listen to some soft music, and be present in the moment—I am happy to be the big spoon or the little spoon. My purpose is to make you feel comfortable, loved, and appreciated. Everyone needs to know they matter. You matter and you are loved.”

And if Sam doesn’t do it for you, she has fellow female cuddlers available at her retail shop in Portland. Clients can choose from hiker Heather from Germany, Southern Belle Ray, and acrobatic yogi Kira. Each 30 minutes session cost $30. Maximum cuddle session is 180 minutes ($180).
