Alexandra Daddario is the actress who plays Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s daughter in the new action thriller, San Andreas. She’s best known for her roles in Percy Jackson (Annabeth Chase), Texas Chainsaw 3D, and True Detective (season one). Her next project is a comedy with model Kate Upton.
Daddario and Upton will star in the “female-driven sex comedy” The Layover, which is being directed by actor William H. Macy (Fargo, Shameless). Daddario said her relationship with Upton will translate well on screen. “She’s [Upton’s] outrageously hilarious and really intelligent,” said Daddario. “We’re having a great time. I’m very excited to see the movie. It’s funny. It’s raunchy.” The Layover will be in theaters in January 2016.
