Brian Johnson is a contestant on The Voice. On Team Adam (stolen from Team Blake), Brian has made it to the Top 20 live playoffs. His genre is threefold — gospel, (he grew up singing in church), soul and pop. The young singer from Cleveland, Ohio said he went on The Voice to introduce himself to America–and he’s doing a great job. The problem is, there’s already a very popular singer named Brian Johnson, and he sings gospel, too.
The already established Christian singer Brian Johnson of Redding, California has 77k followers on Twitter, 64k followers on Facebook and just released a new album called We Will Not Be Shaken. (The Voice‘s Brian Johnson has less than 3k Twitter followers.) Of course there’s the other Brian Johnson, the lead singer of the Australian rock band AC/DC, but there’s no way The Voice‘s Brian Johnson will ever be confused for him.
