Brennan and Booth find themselves in an awkward situation on Bones. While in D.C. filming restaurant reviews, TV celebrity chef Chili Reuben was murdered. He was found dead in a park. The only restaurant that received a bad review was Brennan and Booth’s favorite hangout, The Royal Diner. (Chili demonstrated how bad the diner’s burger was by spitting it out while the camera were rolling.) Needless to say, the Royal Diner’s chef, Frankie, is in a foul mood.
Frankie is portrayed by the legendary character actor Mike Starr. He’s been in everything from The West Wing to The Young and the Restless. But he’s best known for his movie roles as Frenchy in Goodfellas, Joe “Mental” Mentalino who couldn’t take the hot sauce on his burger in Dumb & Dumber, the burglar in Woody Allen’s Radio Days, and Gergie Weiss in Ed Wood with Johnny Depp. Bones airs Thursdays at 8pm on Fox.
