On Criminal Minds, the BAU team faces a mathematician named Peter Lewis who hypnotizes people to kill on his behalf. “He invades your dreams, and preys on your darkest fears,” says the narrator of the sneak peek trailer. His victims, the people implicated in murders, say they were attacked by a “clawed shadow monster” at the moment each crime took place. Watch out when Lewis gets his hands, er claws, on BAU’s Aaron “Hotch” Hotchner.
Peter Lewis is portrayed by Bodhi Elfman. He’s best known for his roles in dramatic action films including Collateral with Tom Cruise, Enemy of the State with Will Smith, and Mercury Rising with Bruce Willis. Elfman is married to Jenna Elfman who co-starred in the popular sitcom Dharma and Greg with Thomas Gibson. Yup, the same Thomas Gibson who plays Hotch on Criminal Minds, which airs Wednesdays at 9pm on CBS.
