On Season 2 of Silicon Valley, while the Pied Piper guys get wined and dined by every venture capitalist around, Monica (Amanda Crew) tries to adjust to the new managing partner at Raviga. Her name is Laurie Bream. She’s taking over for Peter Gregory, who was portrayed by the late, great Christopher Evan Welch. Gregory was odd. Bream might be odder. She lacks emotion and general social skills which will definitely make Monica’s job/life even more difficult.
Bream is portrayed by Suzanne Cryer. She’s appeared in ton of TV shows – from ER to The King of Queens – but she might be best known for her role as Ashley Walker in Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place with before-he-was-a comic-superhero Ryan Reynolds, Traylor Howard (Monk) and Nathan Fillion (Castle).
