On the popular drama The Good Wife, newly elected State’s Attorney Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) takes steps to stop a recount of the election. When potential voter fraud is discovered, with the help of Eli Gold (Alan Cumming), Florrick hires well-respected civil rights lawyer, Spencer Randolph.
Randolph is portrayed by veteran actor Ron Rifkin. He’s best known for his TV roles as Marvin Exley on Law & Order: SVU, Saul Holden on Brothers & Sisters, Arvin Sloane on Alias, and Dr. Carl Vucelich on ER (when Margulies was on the show!). For TV viewers 40 years old and up, you might also recognize Rifkin as Dr. Hal Lantry on Falcon Crest or Nick Handris on One Day at a Time. The Good Wife airs Sundays at 9pm on CBS.
