A young kindergarten teacher and mother of two, Heather Jones, lost 160 pounds and gained a new lease on life. Jones took to dancing the Rumba at a local dance club in Germantown, TN. After one night out, she never came home. WMCA reported that her body was found about two weeks later–burned, wrapped up in an air mattress, and tied with rope.
Heather Jones had filed for divorce, which provoked her husband Chris Jones to kill her. Jones was allegedly a control freak driven mad by his wife’s new look and outlook. He wanted her to gain the weight back and then finally killed her in a jealous rage. He was found guilty of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse.
