The Real Housewives of Melbourne stars don’t hide their love/lust for money and all that comes with it. But there is a stigma among some of the saucy Aussies about being nouveau riche. Gamble Breaux announced at a dinner party that she was from old money in Sydney. But Pettifleur Berenger got her to admit that wasn’t true.
During their group holiday in the Philippines, Pettifleur keeps pushing Gamble’s buttons. She gives Gamble a backhanded compliment about being impressed by all the lovely gowns Gamble wears. “Do you get an allowance?” Pettifleur asks, insinuating that Gamble’s fiancé Dr. Rick gives her a credit card and allowance. Offended, Gamble says “That’s none of your business.” But Pettifleur keeps at it. She says she ‘just wants to get to know’ Gamble. When Gamble finally walks away in a huff, Pettifleur lets out a villainous laugh. Real Housewives of Melbourne airs Thursdays at 9pm on Bravo.
