Talk show host Wendy Williams will host a new true-crime show called Death by Gossip with Wendy Williams on the Investigation Discovery channel. Yes, she will investigate murders fueled by small town rumors. The moral of the show is really a warning not to indulge in chatter and innuendo. Discovery Networks group president Henry Schlieff said, “Death by Gossip proves sticks and stones may break your bones…but words can really kill you.”
Williams knows what it’s like to be talked about. She found her husband Hunter cheating in 2001, just after the birth of their son. But she believes in forgiving and forgetting. They’re still married. Even when a former staff member accused Hunter of sexual harassment (Hunter is Williams’ manager), and when a sex tape surfaced that was supposedly Hunter with another women, Williams ignores the gossip.
