On the CW series Arrow, a new villain begins to terrorize Starling City — Michael Amar, aka Murmur. Murmur has a distinct look about him — his mouth has been sewn shut. Michael Amar/Murmur is portrayed by actor Adrian Glynn McMorran, who in real life couldn’t imagine living without a voice.
McMorran is best known for his roles as Inias on Supernatural and Jeremy Creek on Smallville. But when not on a TV set, he’s in a music studio. Adrian Glynn is a member of the Canadian modern folk group, The Fugitives, and also has a solo singing career. His first full-length record, Bruise, won him a nomination for Emerging Artist of the Year at the Canadian Independent Music Awards. Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8pm on CW.
