The commenter is talking about Paul Johnson’s beautiful, rollicking 7 1/2 minute anime-style film TIE Fighter. The richly imagined short features a space fight scene featuring TIE fighters and X-wings.
Johnson delivers more art and backstory for the characters here, in an elaborate series of project idea proposals. The results are super pro and incredibly imaginative. As another commenter says: “So, when is Lucas hiring you to do more of these? Because seriously, you rock, man!” Of course some are a little more grudging with their praise. “Very well done ” writes John Chronister. “Even though it glorifies Imperial scum.”
