Rayvon Owen, Daniel Seavey, or Qaasim Middleton? Those are the American Idol names that come up most in elimination talk for Thursday, according to critics. Qaasim isn’t changing his tune enough–and the energy can only take him so far. Rayvon’s got the voice and he’s charmed the judges, but he didn’t seem to connect last week–if you’re polling at the water cooler.
As for Daniel, it might just be–to use an analogy–past his bedtime. The sweet young singer has big upside, but he’s not winning this thing–so set him free? Maddie Walker is the only female performer who looks to be at risk (unless Jax just wears out her welcome), but Maddie’s been sick and America won’t kick her when she’s down. They’ll let her recover first–and then vote her out!
