Melyssa Ford used to be the “video vixen” of hip hop. She appeared in music videos for R. Kelly, Usher, Lil Jon, and Ludacris, among others. Now she’s starring in the Bravo reality TV series Blood, Sweat & Heels set in New York City where she’s become a real estate mogul.
Ford recently flew to California to appear on another Bravo show, The Millionaire Matchmaker. After failing to find true, lasting love, Ford returned to New York and found a unique way to rejuvenate. She posted a photo of herself with an IV, on Instagram. “Looks like I’m about to have surgery, right?” she teased. Nope! She was just at a fancy spa getting a dose of vitamins. “It’s seriously a great way to feel energized during the hard winter months here in NYC,” she wrote. Patti Stanger of The Millionaire Matchmaker would argue there’s a better way to feel energized — with a man! — but that’s another story.
