The NBC show The Blacklist starring James Spader as master criminal Red Reddington will kick off a special two-parter right after the Super Bowl. The show hasn’t aired a new episode since its fall finale in November. Blacklist fans are eager to see how Reddington’s going to get out of the secret detention facility where federal agents have him chained up.
At the facility, Reddington will reunite with a villainous character from his past, the meticulous thief Luther Braxton. Needless to say, things go awry. Braxton is played by veteran actor Ron Perlman. Perlman most recently starred in Sons of Anarchy (Clay Morrow) and the new Amazon series Hand of God with Dana Delany. But Perlman is best known by some for the Hellboy movies and the original 1980s Beauty and the Beast TV series. The conclusion of the two-parter will air in The Blacklist’s new Thursday timeslot on February 5 at 9pm on NBC.
