Start stocking up on booze. And drugs. And crotchless panties. And generally horrible but hilarious passive-aggressive behavior. There is going to be an Absolutely Fabulous movie. Jennifer Saunders has confirmed that the first draft of a movie script–titled Edina and Patsy–has been written. “I’m feeling euphoric,” the Mirror reports her saying. “My proper New Year’s resolution is to do the film, otherwise it’ll be a pointless year of procrastination.”
Saunders said the entire original cast will reunite for the film, and she also hopes that every star who made a cameo in the TV series will appear in the movie. “I haven’t got the storyline completely sorted out yet,” she said, “but I want to cast everyone who has ever been in the show to be in it.” The list of cameos would include Helena Bonham-Carter, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, and Elton John.
