Twilight actress Nikki Reed has finalized her divorce from American Idol alum Paul McDonald. According to TMZ, the couple divided their assets accordingly: Reed (who lives with her new man, Ian Somerhalder in Atlanta) gets to keep three homes and three cars, and their German Shepard, Enzo. McDonald gets to keep their Nashville home.
Although Reed and McDonald have been separated for a year, they continue to make music together. McDonald said of their current album I’m Not Falling: “I feel like through the process of writing and recording the album, we both grew significantly as songwriters and collaborators. It’s been amazing watching Nikki grow as singer and discover a new confidence as an artist. Right now our passion for this project couldn’t be stronger. We’re planning on booking a tour soon.”
