In the powerful video ‘Unsung Hero,’ we follow a young man who lives a quiet, modest life in Thailand. The scenes are clearly inspired by Groundhog Day where Bill Murray’s character finds himself in a time loop and reexamines his life and priorities. In ‘Unsung Hero’ the young man stops to help an old woman push her food cart over a curb. He feeds the same hungry dog. He gives his last bills to a mother and daughter begging on the street.
The ‘Unsung Hero’ doesn’t become rich or famous for being altruistic. But in the end he is rewarded. He witnesses happiness. He reaches a deeper understanding of people. He receives what money can’t buy – a world made more beautiful with emotion.
