Hollywood actress Kirsten Dunst (Spider-Man, The Cat’s Meow, The Virgin Suicides) will be joining the cast of the TV series Fargo, based on the Coen Brothers 1996 film. It’s a big cast with other big celebrity actors including Billy Bob Thornton and Oliver Pratt. But it’s not Dunst’s first time on a TV series.
Although Dunst made many appearances in the 1990s in numerous TV series including The Outer Limits (1997), Touched by an Angel (1996), Star Trek: The Next Generation (Hedril, 1993), and Sisters (1993), her longest stint on a TV series was ER. During the 1996-1997 season, Dunst played street kid Charlie Chiemingo in six episodes. Most of her deceptive interactions were with Dr. Doug Ross (George Clooney). Charlie claimed to be broke, a prostitute and the mother of an infant who needed to be treated surgically. Turned out, she wasn’t a street kid after all.
