On the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, housewife Lisa Rinna returns to her hometown of Medford, Oregon to visit her ailing parents, Frank and Lois Rinna. Lisa’s childhood home has just been sold so she takes her two daughters to see where she grew up. The girls feel “uncomfortable” with all the fast food restaurants they pass on their way to grandmom’s house. Rinna tells them she used to go to McDonald’s every Sunday after church. Her daughters are shocked to learn that she went to church.
Rinna admits on-camera for Bravo that she felt like a fish out of water in Medford. She wore really short dresses and got teased a lot. She said, “I knew I was too fabulous” for Medford. But when interviewed for the The Seattle Times, she said, “What I remember most about [Medford] is that it was a safe, cozy place. It was one of those yummy places where you know everyone.”
