Actress/director Angelina Jolie missed the premiere of her film Unbroken due to a case of chickenpox. Her husband Brad Pitt and their three eldest kids Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, and Shiloh, 8, attended in her stead. The film is based on Laura Hillenbrand’s best-selling nonfiction book Unbroken, which depicts the life of WWII veteran Louis Zamperini including his time as a POW in Japan.
The film is rated PG-13 although Jolie told E! News, “I might actually show my younger children.” The other children are Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Knox and Vivienna who are 6. Jolie says “They know the difference of what is real and what isn’t.”
