Actress Rashida Jones who plays Ann on NBC’s Parks and Recreation will return for the seventh and final season of the show–but just for one episode. Jon Hamm (Mad Men) and Rob Lowe (West Wing) will return, too. The final season will air in early 2015.
Jones is busy working on a new TV comedy show called Angie Tribeca. Jones plays Tribeca, a 10-year veteran of the LAPD’s elite RHCU (Really Heinous Crimes Unit). Created by Steve Carell (The 40 Year Old Virgin) and his wife Nancy Carell (The Office), it’s a spoof on the Law & Order franchise. Lots of big name actors and Hollywood celebrities will make guest appearance including Jones’ parents – music producer Quincy Jones and Peggy Lipton (Mod Squad)! Angie Tribeca will air on TBS.
