A Lot Like Love actress Amanda Peet took a break from Hollywood last year to focus on her playwriting debut – The Commons of Pensacola starring Blythe Danner and Sarah Jessica Parker. The New York Times called it “engrossing.” Now, expecting her third child with her Game of Thrones husband David Benioff, she’s back working the red carpet, most recently for the premiere of Amazon’s new series Transparent. Peet doesn’t have a role in the show starring Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development) but she is starring in HBO’s new comedy Togetherness, which will premiere January 11, 2015 at 9:30pm.
When not on the red carpet, Peet is on the set filming the comedy Sleeping With Other People or at home writing her funny children’s book, Dear Santa, Love Rachel Rosenstein. It’s the story of a young Jewish girl who wonders why Santa always skips her house on Christmas. Playwright, children’s book author, film and television actress, mother and wife, the Ivy-educated Amanda Peet is a 21st century have it all woman.
