Actor/director Ben Stiller is reprising his 2001 dumb male model title role Zoolander for a much anticipated sequel. According to Deadline, Oscar-winning actress Penelope Cruz (Vicky Cristina Barcelona) has joined the cast. After having her second child in 2013, Cruz is back at work. She’s working on another funny film, a spy comedy, written by Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat) called Grimsby, to be released in July 2015.
Zoolander fans hope the rumors of Will Ferrell and Owen Wilson returning to the project are true. The script is written by Justin Theroux, fiancé of Jennifer Aniston (Aniston and Stiller co-starred in Along Came Polly). Theroux will also direct.
