Supermodel Christie Brinkley is rich (worth $80 million), and not just from her prosperous days as a top model. Brinkley is also one super savvy entrepreneur. In addition to owning a lot of real estate in the Hamptons, she’s endorsed a variety of products/services including wigs — Hair2wear – and Total Gym Exercise Machines, which Brinkley touts with her political polar opposite, conservative Chuck Norris. Now, Brinkley’s launching a new vegan skincare line called Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare with New York City’s uptown dermatologist Doris Day, who wrote the book Forget the Facelift.
Brinkley’s new product is designed to protect women’s skin against future sun damage. “Men shave daily and get that exfoliation naturally. Women need to add that extra step,” she said in a statement. The line will be sold on America’s Home Shopping Network beginning March 15, 2015.
